Italy's Court of Cassation allows resentencing after the drug-law ruling

After the Constitutional Court struck down the 2006 drug law, the Court of Cassation ruled at the end of May that people imprisoned under the annulled provisions had the right to be resentenced. Grazia Zuffa of Forum Droghe wrote that this could affect about 10,000 prisoners held for cannabis offences.[1]
