Tuscany passed a regional law so that its health service could provide cannabinoid medicines, supplied through hospital pharmacies. Imports still followed national rules and were allowed only when other medicines had failed or were inadequate. A year later the Constitutional Court struck down parts of a similar Ligurian law for going beyond what a region may decide.[1][2]
