Israel keeps the Mandatory drug law

The Provisional Council of State enacted the Law and Administration Ordinance. Section 11 provided that the law in force in Palestine on 14 May 1948 continued in force, with changes arising from statehood. The 1936 Dangerous Drugs Ordinance therefore became Israel's drug law; it was reissued as the New Version in 1973.[1][2]
