Germany bans the semi-synthetic cannabinoid HHC

HHC, made from CBD and sold in gummies and vapes as a legal high, came under Germany's law on new psychoactive substances on 21 June 2024. Making, selling, buying and holding it, and products containing it, became illegal.[1] A year later the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment still found HHC gummies on sale, and makers switching to untested relatives of the substance.[1]
