Acting on a request from the US Drug Enforcement Administration, Canadian police raided the BC Marijuana Party bookstore in Vancouver and arrested Marc Emery in Nova Scotia for extradition. From 1998 until then he had paid nearly 600,000 dollars in taxes as a declared marijuana seed vendor. Canada's justice minister signed the surrender order on 10 May 2010.[1]
