Trekt Uw Plant was founded three years after the law set cannabis apart from other drugs and tolerated an adult's single plant. It harvested its first formal crop in 2010. In 2013 a second club became independent in Hasselt and three more were founded in Liège, Andenne and Namur. Over the same years the police dismantled ever more plantations: 35 in 2003, 1,212 in 2013.[1]
