The State Statistical Committee reported 4,460 drug-related criminal cases in January–June 2026, 28.9% of all registered crimes and 4.4% fewer than in the same period of 2025. Purchase or storage without intent to sell made up 73.0%, sale or production 24.6% and cultivation 1.7%; 2,853 offenders were detained and 2,011 administrative drug offences recorded.[1]
