Tightening 🇦🇹 Austria

Austria puts hemp flowers under the tobacco monopoly

The National Council passed a tax law under which legal low-THC cannabis products may be sold only by tobacconists from 2029, supplied by approved wholesalers. Hemp and CBD shops may keep selling until the end of 2028. The cannabis trade association said it would challenge the law at the Constitutional Court.[1]
