Spain’s [cannabis social clubs](/culture/traditions/cannabis-social-clubs/) built a collective, non-profit supply model around membership and shared cultivation.[@tdpf18] Members pay production costs and associations use internal rules to limit distribution and contact with outsiders.[@tdpf18] The [2001 history entry](/history/spain-social-clubs-2001/) marks the model’s emergence, although its continuing legal exposure differs from countries that later wrote clubs into law.[@tdpf18,tni]

Folded products; inline citations throughout. Medical monograph now allows its special-access route for other indications; October hospital supply remains an announced rollout, with no access-score increase. Two original Gazette entries fill the 1930s/1940s: 1933 procurement invitation (not proven delivery) and 1940 fibre-hemp intervention/support scheme. New 2001 club article distinguishes operating rules from law and the later Ebers procedural appeal. Scores retained. Earlier 1870s–1910s history, Joep Oomen-specific Spanish research and actual October dispensing remain follow-ups.
