Hemp 🇪🇸 Spain

Spain regulates hemp production and directs support for growers

Published on 7 July, a decree dated 28 June placed hemp straw and fibre production, purchases, movement and prices under state intervention from the next harvest. Growers had to declare acreage and production; the agriculture ministry could support seeds, fertiliser, credit and fibre processing. It concerned the textile crop and did not create a right to recreational cannabis.[1]
