Tuvalu’s report to the UN child-rights committee cited a 2006 Funafuti survey in which 5% of respondents aged 15–24 reported having used marijuana.[1] It also reported marijuana imports from Fiji and concerns about border controls, while describing youth programmes addressing alcohol and drugs.[1] Updating drug laws and coordinating prevention work were among its stated priorities.[1]
