Tightening 🇧🇬 Bulgaria

A Bulgarian court gives eight months for half a gram

A young man was sentenced to eight months in prison and a fine of 10,000 leva for possessing 0.54 grams of cannabis, worth 3.54 leva. The sentence came from the new specialised court set up for organised crime. An activist, Radoslav Stoyanov, took a joint out of his pocket during a session of parliament and waved it at deputies and ministers, asking them to speak up against the sentence.[1]
