Other law 🇹🇱 Timor-Leste

Timor-Leste's penal code leaves drug offences to Indonesian law

The new penal code, in force 60 days after its 8 April 2009 publication, contains no offence of drug possession, use, cultivation or supply. Its only drug-related crime is driving while unfit through narcotics or psychotropic substances. Drug cases therefore continued under the inherited Indonesian narcotics law until 2017.[1][2][3]
