In the first half of 2026, Tajikistan seized 2,963 kg of drugs, 5% less than in the same period of 2025. Cannabis-type substances made up the largest share at 1,740.9 kg, down 14.4%, while opium fell 24% and psychotropic seizures rose 3.3 times to 526.3 kg. The synthetic total included 72.9 kg of methamphetamine, 5.2 kg of MDMA and 448.3 kg of pregabalin.[1]
