Debate 🇨🇭 Switzerland

Switzerland's government proposes new cannabis controls

The Swiss government proposed adding Indian hemp to the narcotics list and extending the existing drug ban to hashish. It said cannabis had previously been of little importance in Switzerland but feared supplies reaching the country through neighbouring states after the war. The resulting law was approved later that year and took effect in June 1952.[1][2]
