Debate 🇪🇸 Spain

Catalonia's Parliament asks the government to seek medical cannabis permission

The Parliament of Catalonia approved a non-legislative proposal urging the regional executive to work with the relevant administrations to obtain authorisation for therapeutic cannabis use. The initiative followed advocacy by the breast-cancer patients' association Grup Àgata and preceded the regional pilot programme. The motion itself did not authorise prescriptions or supply.[1]
