On 19 March 2025 narcotics officers forced entry to a private flat near Cavenagh Road and found about 6,885 g of cannabis in the bedroom where a 26-year-old Singaporean man was arrested.[1] They also seized 'Ice', ketamine, Ecstasy, LSD stamps and GHB, and a further 25 g of cannabis in his car.[1] CNB valued the cannabis at more than S$184,000 and said it could feed about 1,040 abusers for a week; the amount was more than 13 times the 500 g capital threshold.[1]
