The National Working Group for a Drug-Free Samoa held its first meeting, co-chaired by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Justice with UNICEF support. One workstream is a review of relevant laws, policies and regulatory arrangements, with a proposal due by 30 August 2026. No bill had been introduced by late October.[1]
