The Samoa Law Reform Commission reported that its follow-up review of the Narcotics Act 1967 had been delayed pending the appointment of a lawyer in the Ministry of Health, which administers the Act. The Commission had taken stock of the recommendations in its earlier final report, sent the ministry a copy and proposed consultations with its management, and was waiting for the ministry to confirm them.[1]
