The Socialist Republic of Macedonia published a law assigning authorities to carry out specified tasks concerning narcotic production and trade. The later 2008 drug-control law identifies it as Gazette 24/83 and expressly repeals it. The surviving repeal reference establishes an earlier regulatory framework, without establishing a change in personal-possession penalties.[1]
