Montenegro proclaims its Law on Prevention of Drug Abuse
The law (Official Gazette 28/11) bans using, producing, trading and holding drugs for personal use (Article 45) and sets a fine of 100 to 2,000 euros for an individual who holds a drug for personal use contrary to the law (Article 52). The Criminal Code keeps prison for selling and for giving drugs to others.
