Ban 🇲🇽 Mexico

Mexico bars marijuana from its military hospital

After a soldier died falling in the hospital courtyard in delirium attributed to marijuana on 21 May, the army reiterated the ban on bringing marijuana, cards and alcohol into the military hospital.[1] Newspapers reported years of fights and accidents there despite searches of visitors, and officers turned out to be the smugglers.[1] The same year the military in Oaxaca ordered the plant rooted out and its pharmacy sale suppressed after desertions and attacks blamed on marijuana.[1]
