Kyrgyzstan adopts new drug lists, quantity rules and licensing controls

The cabinet adopted replacement controlled-drug lists, quantity criteria and rules for lawful handling of controlled substances.[1] The rules prohibit ordinary medical use and retail trade in the banned narcotic list while retaining narrow research and official-use exceptions.[2] Cannabis oil, resin, plant material, marijuana and extracts appear in that prohibited list in the later consolidated text.[3]
