Jordan's Public Security Directorate announced twelve arrests in a series of drug operations on 20 October 2025. At the Jaber border crossing with Syria, officers seized 85,000 narcotic pills, and searches across the country recovered 119 blocks of hashish, including 40 in Jerash and 36 in Aqaba. The operations also led to arrests in Amman and Zarqa, where officers found further hashish and pills.[1]
