Denmark agrees to make its medical cannabis trial permanent

The government and opposition parties agreed that the prescription trial begun on 1 January 2018, extended in 2021 and due to end in 2025, would become permanent from 2026. It keeps its focus on multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, cancer and chronic pain, with better guidance for doctors; the health ministry's evaluation had found no new evidence strengthening the medical case.[1]
