An Anti-Drug Department report counted 16,498 drug suspects in January–July 2026, 10% more than the 14,977 a year earlier; 889 were foreigners. Authorities seized 2.51 tonnes of illicit drugs and 105 kg of dried cannabis, against 1.91 tonnes in the same period of 2025. The figures cover all drugs.[1]
