The yearly procession, now called Freedom for Weed and organised by the Bulgarian Liberation Society, set out from Sveta Nedelya Square with two demands: stop imprisoning people for small amounts of cannabis for their own use, and decriminalise growing small quantities at home. The organisers said almost 20% of Bulgarians had tried cannabis.[1]
