Debate 🇧🇲 Bermuda

Bermuda proposes locally grown cannabis for medical inhalation

Attorney-General Kathy Lynn Simmons opened consultation on a scheme for prescribed cannabis to be smoked or vaped, with a new authority licensing local cultivation and manufacturing. The proposal followed the 2014 pharmaceutical law and 2019 hemp exemption. After public feedback questioned the narrow scope and regulatory cost, the government shifted towards a wider adult-use licensing plan in 2020.[1][2]
