Debate 🇧🇲 Bermuda

Bermuda’s prosecutors propose cautions for small cannabis amounts

The Director of Public Prosecutions published draft guidance to divert people caught with under three grams of cannabis away from court. It proposed first and second cautions, then assessment, counselling and a drug test before a third caution, with commencement tied to criminal-procedure legislation. Bermuda later removed criminal liability for simple possession of up to seven grams in December.[1][2]
