The first ethnobotanical survey of cannabis in Armenia is published

Researchers published an ethnobotanical survey of cannabis in Armenia, based on 27 informants, 26 of them interviewed in September 2018 in seven provinces, and on 20 older sources. They recorded 52 recent uses and 28 name reports, mostly hemp seed as food and fibre; only one recent medicinal use was reported. The authors say legal restrictions and police eradication made people unwilling to talk about the plant.[1]
