Legislative Decree No. 1,193 of 28 August 1940 became the text under which drug offences were prosecuted in Angola; a United Nations survey of 1956 says prosecutions were brought under paragraph 1 of its Article 90. The survey lists the decree beside the cannabis order of 1913 and does not reproduce its wording.[1]
