Medicinal and scientific producers must apply to the Medicines Control Authority under amended regulations providing five-year licences, a compliance inspectorate and testing before export. Indoor or greenhouse cultivation is the default, with justified outdoor exemptions subject to separation and security conditions. Cannabis remaining unexported twelve months after harvest triggers notification, inspection and destruction, with notice and representation rights before related licence suspension or cancellation.[1]
