At a World Anti-Drug Day event, the acting prime minister of the Sana'a government, Mohammad Miftah, said the authorities were drafting new legislation on drug trafficking and cyber-extortion with the parliament and Shura council. He gave no draft text or timetable and accused the United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia of facilitating drug proliferation. The announcement described work in progress, not an adopted law.[1]
