Transnistria defines cannabis cultivation to include breeding plants

A revised growing offence expressly covered preparing conditions for sowing, tending plants, developing varieties and improving yields or weather resistance.[1] Large-scale cultivation still carried a fine, community work or up to two years in prison, and the aggravated tier three to eight years; those penalty ranges were already present in the 2014 code.[1][2] The president signed the amendment on 26 July 2018, with commencement set for the day after official publication.[1]
