Royal Decree 903/2025, signed on 7 October and in force on 10 October, the day after the official gazette published it, let hospital specialists prescribe a standardised cannabis preparation when authorised medicines have not worked.[1] Hospital pharmacies make it up and hand it out.[1] Ordinary pharmacies were left for a possible later rule.[1]
