South Korea warns its citizens not to use cannabis in Canada

The day before Canada legalised cannabis, the Korean embassy there posted a warning that Korean citizens who use, buy, possess or carry cannabis abroad can be punished under Korean law when they return, even where it is legal. Recreational use carries up to five years in prison or a fine of up to 50 million won.[1]
