Slovakia's new Criminal Code sets dose categories for personal possession

The new Criminal Code defined possession for personal use as no more than three usual single doses, and a larger personal-use category as no more than ten. Section 171 provided imprisonment of up to three years for the first category and up to five years for the larger category. The rules applied to controlled drugs generally, including cannabis. These were categories within criminal law, not quantities that could legally be possessed or fixed gram allowances.[1]
