Tightening 🇻🇨 Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

US-backed raids destroy Saint Vincent's hillside crop

A United States-led eradication operation swept the island's mountain farms in December 1998. A Vincentian news site, citing a New York Times report of 4 March 1999, puts the toll at more than one million plants. Growers recall American helicopters returning several times a year in the 1990s.[1][2][3]
