Cannabis was the only drug grown locally in Saint Lucia and met about 20 percent of local demand; the rest came from other Caribbean islands, predominantly Jamaica and Saint Vincent, and from the United States, while a significant portion was shipped from South America, including Colombia and Venezuela.[1][2]
