Tightening 🇷🇺 Russia

Russia creates a federal drug police

The Federal Drug Control Service began work on 1 July 2003 and grew to about 40,000 employees, led first by Viktor Cherkesov and from 2008 by Viktor Ivanov, a former KGB general. In 2004, after ketamine was scheduled, veterinarians who used it on animals found themselves breaking the law. The service was dissolved in 2016 and its work passed to the Interior Ministry.[1]
