Parliament approved a commendation for former ICAD president João Goulão, recognising his role in designing, implementing and consolidating Portugal’s prevention, harm-reduction and treatment model. ICAD reported the vote on 3 March. The recognition did not amend the country’s cannabis offences or supply rules.[1]
