Paraguay lifts the cap on medical cannabis licences

Decree 7761 removed the limit of thirteen licences and the rule that medical cannabis could be grown only in the Central department. The regulator had reported that very few products were reaching patients with refractory epilepsy and multiple sclerosis. A licence requires a pharmaceutical laboratory in Paraguay and runs for five years.[1]
