A Monegasque man born in 1956, with a clean record, was tried for possession and use of narcotics after a search of his home found 15.62 g of cannabis, a CBD spray and CBD chewing gum. The prosecutor cited a ministerial order banning cannabis and its derivatives, including CBD, even at low THC levels, and asked for three months suspended. The defence argued that CBD is legal in the neighbouring countries. The court gave one month in prison, suspended, with two years' probation and an obligation to undergo care.[1]
