LTV Sole, a joint venture between Bro Asia Lao and the herbal medicine maker LTV, told Tobacco Asia in February 2025 that it received an operating licence in December 2023 to grow, process and export cannabis from a 900 square metre indoor site near Vientiane. The company said it was testing 13 strains and that all produce had to leave the country. No government licence or decree could be found, and the account has not been independently confirmed.[1]
