Tightening 🇮🇹 Italy

Italy names Indian hemp on its list of controlled drugs

The regulations for the new drug law put Indian hemp and its alcohol-and-water extract in Table A of controlled drugs. Anyone who wanted to hold them for sale or to give to others now needed a permit from the prefect, the state's representative in each province; public pharmacies were exempt. The rules came into force on 23 December 1923 (Royal Decree 2534).[1][2]
