Hemp growers set up Assocanapa, the national coordination for hemp farming, in Carmagnola, Piedmont, in 1998. Parrella describes how it went on to work on Italian hemp varieties, seed supply and processing technology. It speaks for hemp as a farm and industrial crop.[1][2]
