Hemp 🇮🇸 Iceland

Iceland opens a conditional route to grow industrial hemp

Health Minister Svandís Svavarsdóttir announced a regulatory change allowing the Medicines Agency to permit imports and handling of seed for industrial-hemp cultivation. The exception required conditions ensuring that imported or grown plants contained no more than 0.2% THC. In 2021 the seed scheme moved to the Food and Veterinary Authority.[1][2]
