Tightening 🇭🇰 Hong Kong

Hong Kong adds a synthetic cannabinoid to its dangerous-drug list

From 27 November 2026, MDMB-FUBINACA, a synthetic cannabinoid receptor agonist, will be controlled as a dangerous drug along with two synthetic opioids. The order was gazetted on 2 October 2026 and tabled for negative vetting; the government said no abuse case had yet been detected in Hong Kong. The listing follows the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs' March 2026 decision to place the three substances under international control.[1][2]

Listed for context. No score change is recorded for Hong Kong here.
