Debate 🇩🇪 Germany

A German state proposes selling cannabis over the counter

Schleswig-Holstein, governed by Social Democrats and Greens, announced that it would ask the federal drugs agency for a permit to sell cannabis legally, in order to separate it from the market in hard drugs. Its health minister, Heide Moser, said general warnings about drugs were no longer taken seriously. A federal spokesman said the idea had little to do with reality.[1]
