Czechia's drug coordinator plans a licensed cannabis market

The national drug coordinator Jindřich Vobořil said he was preparing a law to regulate the sale and growing of cannabis: licensed growers, possibly licensed shops, caps on purchases and perhaps registration of buyers. In April 2023 the government approved an addiction plan that included a regulated market. In May Vobořil said he wanted shops for adults, clubs and licensed growing by 2024, and admitted that another EU member state might challenge the plan at the European Court of Justice.[1][2]
